Lab coats

Lochlan walks back in. Her movements are less awkward and more of a standard limp as she sits on the sofa

Hinata walks in and sits on the floor with a sandwich. She notices Lochlan and waves, "oh hey."

Lochlan waves quietly

Cole strolls out into the living room with a annoyed expression and leans next to the wall

Lochlan glances over at him, "You good?"

Cole huffs as he replies, "Viper forced me to take another day off..."

Lochlan tilts her head some, "So you're saying she's at the company right now?"

Cole nods as he sighs

"That's good that she's looking out for ya Cole." Hinata comments

"She's so amazing." Luna says as she walks into the living room 

Cole sighs as he folds his arms, "Of course you two think that"

"Because she's looking out for your well-being? And ours too." Hinata shrugs.

Lochlan gets up from the sofa, "Definately an unrelated question, can I drive your car?"

Cole shakes his head, "No"

"Worth a shot." Lochlan heads to the front door to leave

Cole raises an eyebrow as she leaves

"Uhhhh aren't you gonna stop her?" Luna looks over.

Cole shakes his head, "Don't have the energy"

"You're kidding. She asked to take the car, meaning she's likely intending to go past the 50ft radius."

Cole snaps his fingers as his car keys appear in his hand, "My car is still outside"

Luna sighs

"But that does bring up a good point. Lochlan can teleport right? Why would she need your car?"

Cole shrugs, "Good question"

Fucking HOURS later lochlan walks up to the building. She's found herself some more random new clothes from a random padestrian. She enters the building witha slight limp

The recepionist sighs as they ask, "Name?"

Lochlan calmly states as she puts her hands into her pockets, "Mis.Skully. I was wondering if I could soeak to one of your employees."

The receptionist groans as they start shuffling through papers

Lochlan adds, "I beleive their name is Viper?"

The receptionist sighs and puts the papers down, "I'll see if she's expecting anyone" they press a button as Viper's voice comes from a speaker, "Before you say a GOD DAMN THING i'm not expecting ANYONE unless it's those two cuties"

Lochlan's head tilts, "You mean Luna and Hinata?"

The receptionist lets go of the button as they node, "She's uh...very in love with them"

Lochlan snickers, "Funnily enough I was stopping by to relay a few things from those two."

The receptionist sighs as they press another button, "The elevator is coming down, give it a moment"

Lochlan gives them a polite nod, "Thank you." She walks over the doors to wait.

The elevator dings as the doors open

She steps in

The elevator takes her up to the office floor, keyboards clicking and clacking as usual

She heads directly to Vipers office and knocks three times

Viper swings open the door, stares at Lochlan and then goes to close the door

She tries to .ove her foot in the way of the door, "Slow down there buckaroo. I'm here for a reason."

Viper looks annoyed as she opens the door more, "What could you possibly want?"

"I was wondering if you had some information about someone. Very important."

Viper sighs, "Who?"

"Don't know his name but I do have a mental image. Considering he had a lab coat I guessed someone here might know."

Viper stares at Lochlan then steps aside and lets them enter, "Hurry up"

Lochlan walks in and waits for her to close the door

Viper closes the door as she asks, "You wanna know about Joshua?"

"If that's a guy who would make Cole freeze on seeing a photo of him. Yes." (edited)

Viper nods, "That's the guy, what do you wanna know?"

"Well who is he? I was talking with Cole since I'm mov...uh...and the moment he saw it he froze up." Lochlan folds her arms.

Viper sighs, "Some guy he made a deal with, i guess he fucked up at some point? Not sure...."

"I really need to know more. Any clue where we could try to find more information?"

Viper shakes her head, "That's all i know, you'd have to ask the man himself"

"Yeah will the man himself refuses to talk. Got all nervous and vaniahed to his room." Lochlan grumbles before nervously mumbling to herself, "...I keep saying things outloud."

Viper groans, "Yeah, he does that you just gotta keep pushing him until he eventually either has a panic attack or blurts out what's bothering him"

"It's that easy???"

Viper nods, "That easy, though if he has a panic attack you might wanna just....leave him alone for a while"

Lochlan looks down in thought, "I could probably try that on other people..." she looks up, "Well thank you for helping. I uh... do you want to be friends?"

Viper stares for several seconds, "Maybe, go bother Cole into talking about his deal gone wrong while i think about it"

"Well uh... don't friends give other friends rides when they need it?"

Viper stares, "Fine, just don't touch anything" Viper starts walking out of her office

Lochlan instantly grins as her tail starts to wag. She sounds a bit excited as she goes to follow behind Viper, "Really!? Thank you thank you thank you! You don't beleive how painful it is walking this far at a snails pace!"

Viper steps into the elevator, "There are rules to being in my truck, don't touch the music, don't open the glove box, and don't put your feet on the dash"

Lochlan stands by her and nods, "A few questions. How do you touch music, what is a glove box, and why would ypu dash in a car?"

Viper takes a deep breath and doesn't answer as the elevator reaches the lobby again, Viper steps out and holds her arm out as the receptionist tosses a pair of keys to her

Lochlan continues to follow with a hint of a limp

Viper walks out to the parking lot and hops into her truck

Lochlan goes to hop in aswell though her excitement has dropped off quite a bit.

Viper's truck has quite a few polaroid's sitting on the dash that she quickly grabs and puts in the center console then starts the truck

Lochlan hasn't grabbed the seatbelt at all as she glances at the console, "What was that?"

Viper's face turns slightly pink as she buckles up and mutters, "Nothing" then starts driving

Lochlan stays facing her and stares, "What were they?"

Viper doesn't say a word

Lochlan attempts to reach for the photos.

Viper smacks her hand, "Don't touch that"

Lochlan pulls her hand away for a moment, "Or what? You'll have a panik attack or blurt it out?"

Viper doesn't say anything

Lochlan reaches for it again

Viper smacks her hand harder, "Don't. Touch that"

Lochlan folds her arms, "What if we had a trade then?"

Viper glances over at Lochlan, "What?"

"You get to ask me anything you think has the same value as me seeing what those were."

Viper shakes her head, "Nothing is equal to that information, you blabber and talk too much for me to give you any private information"

"I only seem like blabber and talk so much becuase I don't want people thinking I actually keep any secrets. Not to mention you say that yet I know alot about ypu and as far as I know you don't even know my name."

Viper rolls her eyes, "I know what your name is, and two that trick doesn't work on me"

Lochlan scoffs, "Then what's my full name?"

Viper exhales with annoyance, "Lochlan is your first name, i don't know the rest of your name because that hasn't been discovered yet"

"And how did you get my name?"

Viper rolls her eyes, "Through Cole"

"And what did he have to say about me?"

Viper raises her eyebrow at her, "What the don't let you in the building part or don't trust you with private information part?"

Lochlan furrows her brow as her tone drops some, "Wait. He said not to trust me? Wha?" She seems a bit shocked.

Viper nods, "Wasn't exactly supposed to tell you that but, figured you should know"

The shock quickly morphs into offence, "That mother bucking corn hucker takes the time to build a replica of my bedroom onto his own house down to a T and trusts me enough to protect me with his life but tells others not to trust me???"

Viper shrugs, "He's a strange man, i can't answer for why he did that"

"Do you have his phone number?"

Viper starts driving onto a dirt road, "I do, but i'm not giving it to you"

"Could you call him and ask him why to not trust me with things like that? I know if I say anything he would think you told me and I know you wouldn't want that."

Viper shakes her head, "No can do, ask him yourself" Lochlan can start to see the house in the distance

"He's going to know you said it. Are you ok with that?"

Viper shrugs, "We'll find out"

Viper's hot pink truck pulls up outside the house, the engine is probably audible from inside

Lochlan huffs, "You know you could use a break from the whole boss lady front from time to time right?"

Viper rolls her eyes as she steps out of the truck and starts heading towards the front door

Lochlan steps aswell and follows with a growl.

Viper walks up to the front door opens it for Lochlan

"The heck?" Luna goes to look out the window. "Wait, SHE'S HERE???"

Hinata asks "ehhhhh? You mean her her?"

"If you mean Viper, yes." Luna smiles

Hinata crowds around the window

Luna and Hinata quickly return to the couch like nothing happened.

Lochlan enters as she looks rather annoyed, "I'm back with a Viper."

Viper enters behind Lochlan, "I found someone's goblin"

Lochlan glares over her shoulder

"Ah, well thanks for bringing her back for us Vipe." Luna smiles.

Hinata waves but is otherwise silent.

Lochlan walks furtger into the room as she sits down in the corner, "Well can someone tell Vipe that I'm a trust worthy person instead of throwing me under a buss." Lochlan glances at cole

Viper snickers, "Thanks for the nickname" Cole seems to be staring at the bottom right of his eye with a puzzled expression

"Eh? What was Lochlan doing?" Hinata asks, curious about the sudden appearance of the two.

Lochlan sighs, "I can explain what I was doing after I get someone to correct the records here."

Viper rolls her eyes as she folds her arms, Cole looks up from the bottom right of his eye, "What's going on?"

"That's what we're trying to figure out. Did you find something out Cole?" Luna asks, puzzled.

"Was Lochlan launching cherry bombs again?" Hinata tilts her head.

"Did not a single one of you hear what I said the moment I walked in?"

Cole shakes his head, "Just confused as to why a certain someone didn't show up on the security system" Viper covers her mouth as she quietly snickers, Cole then continues, "I didn't hear it"

Luna nods towards Lochlan, "Yes Lochlan, you requested to be considered trustworthy, but usually that's earned and not just given out on a whim."

Hinata nods in agreement, but everything is still confusing to her. "So wait, Lochlan wasn't on the security system?"

Lochlan is looking confused, "Security syrem? Huh?"

Cole shakes his head, "The whole truck didn't appear, but that's besides the point" Cole turns to Lochlan, "Why are you back here with Viper after asking me for a ride?"

"Well Lochlan did ask if Viper was at CGI earlier. I imagine Lochlan teleported there and then went to talk with Viper about something. The trustworthy part is where I'm confused. Did she get into something there?" Hinata reasons out.

Luna is listening to everything and her eyes are closed while processing.

Lochlan sighs, "I see I can't have anything aroundhere unless I explsin. I walked there, talkedwith Viper and learned thename of that lab coat guy was Joshua. She agreed to be my friend and give me a ride home but on the way she let out that shewas told to not trust me, by Cole. "

Cole starts walking out the second Lochlan says Joshua while flipping Viper off, Viper rolls her eyes and doesn't do anything

"Uhhhh if it makes you feel any better Lochlan, hey Viper? You can trust Lochlan."

Luna says, while trying to defuse the bomb of a situation brewing.

Hinata nods. "And Joshua? Right okay that's why that picture looked familiar."

Lochlan sighs, "and that was why I was going to explain after cuz now the guy who tried to call me untrust worthy is probably crying in his room"

Viper shrugs as she mentions, "I wasn't the one who said it" she gestures to where Cole used to be standing

"Ugh. What a pain in the ass." Luna groans, shaking her head.

"So what do we do? Cole's panicked about Joshua, and I don't think he's gonna listen to us. Especially considering last night. Max had some documentation in his server about this."

"Well im going to go findout why he said it. Im alot of things but not trustworthy isn't going to be oneof them. " lochlan gets up and limps to the hall
